Demand: Beginner
Maintenance training
Timetable: 8:00 – 16:00
Course description
Theory:
In the theoretical part of the course, participants receive a structured introduction to the SCC compressor product range. The various control units are presented, including their specific functions. The basic maintenance and servicing work is explained. Participants will learn about the function and replacement intervals of air filters, oil, oil filters, separators, intake regulators, minimum pressure non-return valves, thermostatic valves and other components. Typical fault patterns and their effects on operation are also addressed. One focus is on understanding maintenance schedules and recognising and avoiding failures at an early stage by taking preventive measures.
Practice:
In the practical part of the training, the theoretical knowledge is put into practice directly on the compressor. After a short tour, the participants practise:
- Carrying out maintenance work (e.g. changing filters, resetting maintenance intervals)
- Setting the print parameters on the various control units
- Working with the timer and pressure switch
- Diagnosis and rectification of typical faults and practical cases
- Cleaning and testing of coolers, filters and sensors
- Replacement of wearing parts such as V-belts or intake regulators
Objective:
The aim is to give participants the confidence to carry out service work independently and to safely diagnose and rectify typical faults. The course concludes with a feedback session to optimise future training courses.
Catering:
A small breakfast as well as coffee, tea and other drinks will be provided. Lunch will be provided by a caterer at 12 noon.
Price:
This training is free of charge for our sales and service partners. Only a catering fee of 50,- per person will be charged.

Demand: Advanced
Control & inverter training
Timetable: 8:00 – 16:00
Course description
Theory:
In the theoretical part of the course, participants receive a structured introduction to the C70 (MAM 6070) and C80 (MAM 6080) control units, which are installed in around 80% of our compressors. The C100, which is used exclusively in the BASE VSD series, is also covered. In addition to the controls, the handling of the MD520 inverter, the most important parameters and the auto-tuning process are explained. One focus is on fault detection and rectification in the control and inverter area.
Practice:
In the practical part, participants apply their knowledge to compressors with simulated faults. The fault patterns affect both control systems and inverters and cover typical service cases. Parameterisation and auto-tuning are carried out independently on the test inverters provided.
Objective:
The aim is to give participants confidence in diagnosis and repair. At the end of the course, there is a feedback session to optimise future courses.
