Oil-free compressed air for food applications
SCC develops compressors for areas where oil contamination must be avoided at all costs. Our oil-free technologies work without lubricants in the compression process and deliver compressed air with ISO 8573-1 Class 0 as the purity target for the highest hygiene requirements.
Water-injected screw compressors from the AQUARIUS I series use water from the ambient air for cooling – without an external fresh water supply. The low compressor temperatures protect temperature-sensitive processes. Oil-free scroll compressors from the SCROLLI series operate with low vibration and low maintenance – ideal for applications with constant air requirements such as packaging and filling systems.
Energy-efficient base load systems for continuous operation
Variable speed control automatically adjusts the compressor output to the current demand. STRONG and FOCUS X compressors with permanent magnet motors reduce energy consumption through demand-based control and reduce idle phases. This ensures stable pressure conditions with consistent air quality.
Simple maintenance and Europe-wide service
Our compressors can be integrated into existing systems. Long maintenance intervals of up to 4,000 operating hours reduce downtimes. The SCC control system documents all operating parameters and enables connection to control rooms. Spare parts are quickly available throughout Europe via our dealer network.

We rely on technologies without oil in the compression process: water-injected screw compressors and scroll compressors. Both systems meet the ISO 8573-1 Class 0 cleanliness target and are suitable for direct product contact.
No. The AQUARIUS I series uses water from the ambient air and does not require an external fresh water supply. The water is used in the internal circuit and used for cooling.
Variable Speed Drive (VSD) adjusts the compressor output to the current air requirement. This avoids idling, reduces switching frequency and can noticeably reduce power consumption – especially with fluctuating demand in food production.
The SCC control system documents all relevant operating parameters. Pressure, temperature and maintenance status can be called up at any time – on site on the touchscreen or via interfaces for control rooms. This supports the documentation requirements in accordance with HACCP.
