New generation refrigerant dryers
From July, the new DRY 7 and DRY 15 will replace the previous FD 7 and FD 15 models. The new series impresses with a significantly more environmentally friendly refrigerant, optimised operational reliability, and constant drying performance – at an unchanged price.
The DRY refrigerant dryers are available in two versions: as an independent stand-alone solution and as a factory-integrated refrigerant dryer for SCC TD series compressors. The proven functional principle of the TD compressors remains fully intact.

The DRY refrigerant dryers thus already meet the regulatory requirements of the coming years – at no extra cost.
- Significantly lower CO₂ footprint – Thanks to the R1234yf refrigerant (GWP: 4, according to IPCC AR4), a potential refrigerant leak results in a CO2 footprint up to 97% lower than that of a refrigerant dryer with a GWP value of 150.
- Consistently high drying performance – The integrated pressure-controlled bypass valve automatically keeps the refrigerant circuit within the optimum operating range. The result: a stable pressure dew point and reliable compressed air quality – without any manual readjustment.
- Maximum operational reliability – The automatic temperature stabilisation of the low-pressure side protects the system from excessive subcooling and icing of the refrigerant compressor – even under fluctuating operating conditions.
- Easy integration – The proven functional principle of the TD compressors remains fully intact. No conversion effort, no changes to the system concept.
